Our Purpose

We desire to see in the life of each believer in this church the ability to truly worship and follow Jesus. What we mean by that goal is this:

To Truly Worship

In Spirit. (Jn.4)

That we would be engaged with God in our hearts, with passion and spirit. And that we would be empowered by a sustaining walk with and filling of the Spirit of God.

In Truth. (Jn.4)

That we would know true thoughts of God, become lovers of truth, and experience the freedom that comes by truth. That we would also live in truth, with life-worship.

To Follow Jesus

“Salt and Light.” (Mt.5:13-14; I Pet.3:15)

That we would exhibit transformed lives that transform others. That our lives would be different, exemplary, noticeable, affecting the lives of those around us and exalting the reputation of Christ.

“Branch to the Vine.” (Jn.15:5)

That we would vitally connect to the Father in a live-giving, dependent, fruit-producing way. That patterns of spiritual feeding from the god-vine would be developed and sustained.

“Good Shepherd.” (Jn.10:1-18; 21:15-24)

That we would each pour our life into someone else, and that we would love, lead, nurture, and protect those to whom we are spiritually devoted.

“Fishers of People.” (Mk.1:17-20; Lk.5:1-11; Mt.4:19-20)

That we would have hearts for the lost and lives that are active in the pursuit of introducing others to the Father.
