I grew up in Salem, OR and attended HS at McNary in Keizer, OR. I moved to Portland to attend Multnomah Bible College in 1998, and graduated with a degree in Music Ministry in 2002. During college I worked at Evangel Baptist Church as a worship intern and at Crossroads Community Church as a youth and worship intern. I also was a part of Forgivenmuch, a traveling worship ministry with its roots as a chapel worship band at Multnomah. After Mulnomah and Forgivenmuch ended, I began getting involved at Pearl Church, helping out with the music. I also began a Master’s program at George Fox, graduating in 2007 with a degree in Church History. In 2006, Marissa and I got married (on our 2 year dating anniversary - to the day mind you) and we currently live out in Fairview with our extremely intelligent, and sometimes annoying dog Shasta. This July I begin a transition into full-time work here at Pearl, assisting with pastoral responsibilities as well as the music, sound, liturgy, connecting, facilities, and event ministries. I also run a small business in my spare time, providing music and sound for local weddings and parties.
