Looking to hire: Personal / Home Assistant

Position open beginning May 1st.

Job is approximately 6-10 hrs/wk on site at our home. Duties include light cleaning, laundry, general housework, some food-prep, grocery shopping, errands and projects.

Hours are flexible based on availability, prefer approx 3-4 days/wk at 2-3 hrs per day.

Pay is $10/hr to start, w/raise potential after 6 months.

Babysitter Needed

Hi,
We are looking for a babysitter who will be available for the occasional week night and weekend night. 4-5 hours at a time, 1-2 times a month max. We would like someone who could drive them-self to our house and is comfortable putting a 1 year old to bed. Babysitting experience a necessity as well as a couple references. We are willing to pay for experience! Our son is lovely, well behaved (most of the time) and easy going. We just want to have a few date nights a month

Housing for my brother

My brother (late 20’s) is moving to Portland in about two weeks and is looking for housing. Does anyone have (or know of) a basement apt, an extra room, etc that might be available to him? He’s looking for something that would not lock him into a year long lease and would give him a relative amount of freedom to leave at any time, since he might be getting married within the next year. He’s looking on craigslist and such, but I told him I’d inquire at our church, too.

I am presenting a six-week series of workshops offering support, encouragement and practical tools using the Bible, fellowship, and knowledgeable resources. I just wanted to check and see if anyone is looking for a roomie or knows anyone who is. In these economic times, I know there might be someone who I could help. I’m a 20’s guy who has spent alot of time trying to live on my own. I need to cut my expenses and pay off some medical bills. I’ve been with same employer for 1.5 years and have good rental history. I work weekdays and do have some commitments throughout the week, so I may not be around a whole ton. I enjoy company and am not picky about who I surround myself with. I need to stay close to downtown, NW or Pearl area. If you need a space filled in Gresham or Beaverton, I’m most likely not the ideal candidate. Thanks for your time.
