Just ordered the book!  Is it about microeconomic issues or macroeconomic issues or both?

Mostly macroeconomic issues.  I think that the book itself is pretty basic, but I think that we can use it as a springboard for a great discussion.

Hi Chris,

You and I met over Korean BBQ at Thomas’ house when Donna was in town a few weeks back and I had a really great time.  Today I noticed the title of the book you’ll be reading in August and I think I’d love to get a copy ASAP and get on board if you have some room for another body in the reading group.  I’m afraid I don’t know when/where you all meet, or how quickly I’ll need to read to get “up to speed,” but I would love a good read/discussion on economics, faith, consumption and some of the ethical/moral threads that weave these topics together in the lives of those of us who follow Christ.  Is it too late? Or can I play in the sandbox too?

Hi, William

Of course you can come play too.  This book, fortunately is quite short - I think if you exclude the index it clocks out right at 100 pages - so its not at all too late.  We meet on the second sunday of the month, after the second service, at the Eco Trust building.  You are welcome to come, even if you don’t quite finish the book

The best place to find this book is probably Amazon...unless someone else is done reading the book and is willing to lend theirs out....

Thanks Chris,

I’ll get my hands on the book in the next couple of days and join you on the 10th… Should be fun!
