Liturgy Ministry

The Liturgy Team oversees the general themes, content (i.e. Scripture readings, creeds, prayers, etc.), and tone of the weekly worship service. We desire to embrace the unity of Christ’s Church through the incorporation of traditional liturgical elements and observance of a Christian calendar, while retaining the primacy of Scripture as our theological and practical authority. We value the intentional use of tools and worship movements that reflect both the transcendence and immanence of God, while creating space and stillness for His people to worship their Creator. To help facilitate this we incorporate physical space, colors, and other visual aids. We work closely with the musicians and pastors of the church to bring our services together each week. We believe in the priesthood of believers and encourage the participation of laity in the many ways God has gifted them.
