Women’s Ministry

Our purpose for women’s ministry is to facilitate an ever deepening relationship with God and with one another. Our aim is to become true worshippers of God in all aspects of our lives – women who worship in Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-24).

Supporting women’s spiritual development includes nurturing women to become:
• Branches to the Vine: Cultivating a deep abiding relationship with Jesus (John 15:5)
• Salt and Light: Living out transformed lives in their circles of influence (Mt 5:13-14)
• Fishers of Women and Men: Reaching out to those in spiritual need (Mk 1:17-20)
• Good Shepherds to the Sheep: Caring for those within the community of faith (John 10:1-18)

To better serve women, our ministry has created three distinct teams.  If you’re interested in getting involved by either serving or participating, please contact one of the women below.

Prayer and Care: This team acts as a resource periodically for women who need prayer for life issues and spiritual growth, a listening ear and support for short term challenges.  Although not expected to be a counseling or a discipling relationship, this team will minister important prayer and support (coordinating meals, practical care, and encouragement).

If you have questions about prayer and care or are interested in becoming involved, please contact .

Gathering & Events: Getting women connected in authentic and meaningful relationships through gatherings and events is the goal of this team. From the annual retreat to card making to kayaking, there are a range of activities throughout the year with different levels of involvement, designed to relate to the wide range of women at various stages and ages of life.

If you have questions about gatherings and events, please view the or contact or .

Spiritual Formation: The goal of this team is to provide opportunities for women to deepen their relationship with God through short term biblical and topical studies, discussions and the 8-week spiritual formation groups.  We desire to see women develop in spiritual maturity, use their gifting, and disciple others.

If you have questions about women’s spiritual formation please contact , , or .

I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. – Romans 12:1
