Systemic Complicity

Stories and systems give shape to beliefs, values, and behavior. And when we perpetuate stories or participate in systems that are gendered, homophobic, or exclusive, then we are complicit when a person behaves in a way that more deeply and fervently embodies the essence of our stories and systems.
