A central rhythm that we’re cultivating at Pearl is our sacred story and one of the primary ways in which we intentionally cultivate this rhythm is through the use of the Church Calendar. But what exactly is the Church Calendar? Where did it come from? What is the meaning behind the seasons, colors, and symbols? These are great questions! And, as we embark on a new year in Advent, this is a great time to not only consider these questions but to reflect on the last year and to look ahead, with hope, to the new year upon us.
