This group is now full, but will be offered again in the future!
Every Thursday throughout Lent (2/25-4/1), 7-8:30pm, via Zoom
Many people who find themselves at Pearl have either begun or are in the process of deconstructing harmful, Christian faith. Yet, what is good Christian faith? Over the last year we’ve been building out curriculum for a course that can help to answer this important question and throughout the season of Lent you’re warmly invited to participate in this offering, which intends to establish a foundation for Christian faith that can honestly and reasonably be called “good.” To ensure there’s space for dialogue, we’re capping this class at eight people. To ask questions or to RSVP, please email Pastor Mike. By way of content, here are the topics we’ll cover:
Week One, Thursday, February 25, Gospel as Good News
Week Two, Thursday, March 4, Bible, Part I: Accomodation and Trajectory
Week Three, Thursday, March 11, Bible, Part II: Biblical Narrative
Week Four, Thursday, March 18, Salvation, Atonement, Heaven, and Hell
Week Five, Thursday, March 25, Particularity and Plurality
Week Six, Thursday, April 1, Being Christian and Discerning Good
