Join Pastor Mindy on Monday evening, March 22th from 7:00 - 8:00pm for a group discussion related to the message she shared about an ancient patriarchal mindset and some of the violent and harmful religious stories told to blame and oppress women throughout history.  

Come ready to listen, empathize, and share your own experience. Questions you may consider beforehand are:

• How do I relate with the message Pastor Mindy shared?

• How have I experienced misogyny in the church?

• What new thinking or feelings do I have today having heard this message?

• Where am I at today in reimagining violent interpretations of original sin and headship theology?

• Where do I feel stuck in letting go of the impact these violent stories have had in my life?

We will close our time together with a 5 minute loving kindness meditation.
