Join other LGBTQ+ folks from Pearl Church for a fun night of storytelling. The theme: My Generation. Everyone is invited to tell a short story (~5 minutes) that captures the essence of what it was like growing up LGBTQ+ in their particular generation. We hope to hear a diversity of experiences and points of view to learn more about shifts in culture from generation to generation. Focus on a specific event in your life and how it captures the theme. Stories can be funny, sad, nostalgic, angry — whatever you like! Jot down notes if it's helpful or just recall from memory. Don't want to share? That's OK. Just show up and hear the stories of others. Wine and snacks provided.
