The Incarnation is the lens through which Christians abide in the union of materiality and Divinity. However, since the earliest days of Christendom, Greek thought has soured the goodness and beauty of materiality—our very bodies included! During this Educational Evening we will begin by exploring the provocative idea of the Divine wrapped up in the body of a child. We will then enter into the grandeur of Christmas by considering and celebrating the Incarnation’s marvelous implications for creation and embodiment.
