Building off the first class in this two class series, in the second Mindful- Self Aware Parenting class we will be exploring more deeply how we can be a non-reactive, peaceful presence in the lives of our children. Parents and Caregivers will have the chance to engage questions in a dynamic group dialogue like:
What does it mean to be “triggered” in parenting and caring for children?
What are some personal triggers that take you out the present moment?
What do you notice happens within when you are not present to your children?
How does this impact your children and the relationship you have with them?
How do you care for yourself when this happens?
When do you ask for help?
How does self compassion and personal care impact how we parent and care for our children?
How can you nurture and model self compassion in your life with your kids?
