Good Friday remembers the Divine-human who experienced difficulty, sorrow, and death–appropriate themes for 2020/2021.
During our Good Friday service we’ll follow a tenebrae liturgy that descends from light to darkness, answers to questions, and hope to despair. You will be invited to light three candles which will be extinguished through the service. Rather than turn as quickly as possible from these difficulties, we’ll attempt to remain present to suffering in order to feel its weight and to notice its textured impact on our souls.
As we prepare for this special service, we’d appreciate your perspective on the sorrows and losses of the last twelve months. Please email us with any and all thoughts, which will remain anonymous but be used to shape our corporate experience.
